Andy, your post the other day has had a huge, beneficial I tihnk, impact upon me. It has refocused my attention on the realisation that good painting is when you find thoughtful abandon. I tihnk its about confidence, which comes from time painting. Its the result, and then disguise of, hard work. A kind of languid labour (last phrase is just becasue I like the sound of it)
